I am trying to to set up the scan to email function on the C7260 Image Runner. we put in the right SMTP for gmail and the correct user name and password. but it is not working. When we try to scan it says sending for a second and then right away says resending... and then eventually fails. The scan to email feature is designed to scan to an email server and not a personal email address. With this said, the easiest way to do this is to scan from the MF Scan Utility and then select Save to PC instead of Attach to E-mail. Before configuring the machine for scanning to e-mail, check the setup flow shown below. Make sure that the machine and the computer are correctly connected.
